Welcome to the Society of Defense Financial Management (SDFM)-Washington Chapter. We seek to carry out the same goals and initiatives as our parent society, SDFM, such as education and training for members and supporting growth and advancement in the defense financial management field.
As a local chapter, we provide education and training, sponsor research, and professional programs to address current issues. Comptrollership includes professional financial management in Department of Defense, all branches of the United States Armed Forces, the Fourth Estate, other governmental agencies as well as private sector organizations and academia.
Our membership is diverse, both in terms of experience and areas of functional expertise. We provide resources for those at the senior-most executive level to those just starting in the profession. Our members serve as organizational leaders, chief financial officers, controllers, budgeteers, accountants, auditors, financial administrators, risk managers, data analysts and decision scientists, advisory roles, students, and many other roles.
2024 NCR PDI:
Go to the Home Page and login with the email address used for registration, select the “2024 NCR PDI” tab, then select “Evaluations” You must then complete a short evaluation. Once the evaluation is completed and submitted the evaluation button will turn into a Print Certificate button. Print or save certificate for your records. If you were a part of a Group registration, you must contact the Registration Chair.
Monthly Luncheon Meetings:
Go to the Home Page, and login with the email address used for registration, select My Account, then open My events.
After the event is completed, you can navigate to the event and select "Review Event". You must then complete a short evaluation. Once evaluation is completed and submitted the evaluation button will turn into a Print Certificate button. Print or save certificate for your records.
