National Communications and Chapter Affiliation
Not receiving National ASMC communications? Communications may be restricted by the Department’s firewalls, consider using your personal email address to ensure delivery. To update your email address, go to the National SDFM site membership updates you will need your membership number to log in. Once logged on, under the column "Your Options", click "Update Profile". Just below your name and before the address fields update the “Email Address” field. You can also update your Chapter affiliation on this page just below all of your name and address fields, right below "Country", there is a drop-down menu for “Chapter”. Here you can select the chapter you want to move to, the transfer will be effective immediately.

Individual Membership
Persons who are or have been employed within the defense financial management field of the federal government or associated with it. The fee is $50 for one year or $120 for three years.
Lifetime Membership
Any individual member achieving 30 (thirty) consecutive years of membership in SDFM qualifies for Lifetime (Non-dues Paying) membership, without any other stipulations. All the benefits of Individual Membership, except lifetime members receive only a digital version of the Armed Forces Comptroller (AFC) Journal. Lifetime members wishing to receive a print copy may do so for a nominal fee.
Retiree Membership
Retiree Membership recognizes those SDFM members who are “fully retired” and not working in any other profession. Retirees remain dues paying members in order to continue to receive a print copy of the Armed Forces Comptroller journal. Retirees may request to be non-dues paying and receive online journal access only.
Corporate Membership is available for private sector companies interested in the military comptrollership field and have paid the appropriate fees.
