The 2024 Washington ASMC Washington Chapter National Capital Region (NCR) Professional Development Institute (PDI) will be held in person on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Washington Convention Center, 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, Washington, DC 20001, formerly 801Mount Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 2000! Join us for this vibrant training and networking event with key government and industry thought leaders to optimize FM education while helping to raise funds for charities and scholarships.
Our 2024 Washington ASMC NCR PDI theme is “It’s What We Do Next!” It acknowledges persistent core FM problems and available fixes, along with growing impatience for speed to vital outcomes. Do we have the courage to do the right thing next - aided by unity, preparation, data, and purpose - to push the limits and accomplish the seemingly unattainable? Can we, as essential value partners in freedom’s fight, do any less than our warfighters who step up daily to meet relentless, volatile global threats? Our community stands at a singular moment to forge forward and make it better. We can do this. We must do this.
We have an exciting, thought-provoking program planned – invited keynote speakers include USDC Honorable Michael McCord, the Honorable Robert Hale, and the PPBE Reform Commission, plus key uniform leaders. Additionally, we will have corporate-sponsored Digital Innovation and Financial Transformation Sessions, and our always popular OUSD(C) and Military Service FM Updates as well as recognize our Chapter Award Winners.
NOTE: Unfortunately, there is no live streaming virtual option this year as it remains cost prohibitive. We strongly encourage you to attend in person and are focused on making this a first-rate, safe, enjoyable training event! The Washington Convention Center is rated #1 in the DC area for safety protocols, and it is conveniently located at the Mount Vernon Metro stop.
