Ms. Bridget Collins

Ms. Bridget Collins is the Chief of Finance and Accounting at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where she is responsible for accounting services, financial systems, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit. Since joining DTRA in 2016, she worked diligently to build a world-class accounting organization comprised of a team of leaders at every level. In FY 2024, DTRA earned an unmodified audit opinion in only the second year of standalone audit. Ms. Collins received an Exceptional Civilian Service Medal for her leadership and commitment to achieving DTRA’s auditability goals.
Prior to joining DTRA, Ms. Collins held several audit roles. She spent thirteen years at the Defense Logistics Agency. First, she led the worldwide DLA audit organization conducting high visibility audits and red team assessments. Then, she was selected to be the Deputy for Audit Readiness, managing the audit readiness activities of over 900 team members. Ms. Collin’s began her federal career as a financial auditor with the Government Accountability Office. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their federal practice auditing financial statements.
Ms. Collins holds a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute.
